Both new and returning students who wish to continue their studies in a tertiary institution may now register at the Port Elizabeth Tvet College Dower campus for the 2024 academic year. From January 15 through February 27, 2024, Dower College will begin accepting new students. Only potential students who have made it through the application procedure successfully may register. The steps outlined below must be followed in order to enroll for classes at Ower College.

The process of enrolling in or registering for classes at the Port Elizabeth Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College through its online platform is referred to as Dower TVET College Online Registration. A public college in South Africa called Port Elizabeth TVET College Dower campus offers vocational education and training programs to aid students in obtaining the skills and credentials required for entering the workforce or continuing their education.

Registration Process To Dower Tvet College

All students will be required to submit the following

3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner.
3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian.
One ID-size photo.
Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher.
A unique Email address and cellphone number.

Note:

In the event of students who are minors or for whom the parent or guardian is providing financial support, parents or guardians must accompany the registrants to check the accuracy of the personal information provided. Students will be chosen for the course based on their potential aptitude (as determined by their highest qualifications and other relevant variables). The College Council has the authority to assess this possibility.

Dower College Registration Closing Dates 2024: The Dower Tvet College registration closing date is on the 27th of February 2024

Requirements Of Students who transfer from another FET College

A letter from the former institution confirming that they have been de-registered.
A certified copy of your ID card
On College letterhead, a report on their academic background, including results from Internal Continuous Assessment (ICASS) and Integrated Summative Assessment (ISAT).
If transferring during the academic year, the student’s Portfolios of Evidence for all disciplines from the previous university.
A certificate of good standing from their former educational institution

Competency Tests – NCV

The competency test’s purpose is to ensure that the student is placed in the best program for him or her. To determine his or her ability in English, which is the College’s medium of instruction, the student must take a competency test. Competency exams are required by the National Department of Education and Training as a condition of admission, and they must be administered in the best interests of students and the College.
