Application Date for Tvet Colleges

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges Online Application for 2024 opens on 1 April and closes on 30 November. Therefore, all those who want to apply for TVET College Online should do so before the application deadline.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS for Tvet Colleges

A year-end school report for Gr 11 or Gr 12 certificate; or
An NQF Level 1 qualification; or
An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose to access NQF Level 2; or
A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirements for access to NQF Level 2
Gr.9 and Gr. 10 will be considered only in exceptional cases.

Document needed to apply to Tvet Colleges:

All qualified applicants wanting to study at Tvet College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:

A unique/valid Email address and cellphone number
3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
A certified copy of your latest results/Grade 9 or Higher;
Proof of Residence.

Foreign students

Certified copies of passport
SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
Proof of medical insurance or cover
Valid study permit

How to Apply to TVET Institution

Visit the college website to download the application form
Fill all the space
Choose a course that fits your qualification
Provide all the important documents such as Valid ID, certified Results, or certificate
Provide IDs of parents and/or guardians or death certificate where applicable
International students must provide their passport ID where applicable
