Job Title: PART-TIME Acting Senior Lecturer (PL2)

Job Requirements

  • Three-year relevant teacher’s qualification and SACE registration.
  • In-depth knowledge of the subject program (subjects) preferably how part-time works.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and verbal), organizing, planning, and administration skills. Ability to monitor students’ performance and provide critical feedback in an objective and professional manner
  • Ability to relate to students in a professional manner and to promote a conducive teaching and learning environment.
Main objectives and key functions
  • Monitor the emergence of divisions within the college
  • Supporting the College and providing expert support in improving capacity related to division topic learning, teaching, and assessment at all levels.
  • Coordination of your division’s curriculum and assessment structures.
  • Coordination of the creation of instructional materials, assessment tasks, and performance tasks.
  • In order to ensure that the subject, learning area, or phase, as well as the learners’ education, are promoted in a suitable manner, you should be in charge of the department’s efficient operation and organize pertinent curricular activities.
  • Evaluate and document the learning progress of the students
  • Aid in the organization and management of the equipment, textbooks, etc.
  • Organize and keep an eye on the curriculum for Report 191 programs.
  • Plan student excursions and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Report on and provide evidence of student performance in your program(s).
  • Perform other pertinent tasks that fall under the purview of teaching and learning.
  • Must work together with colleagues to uphold high standards for learning and teaching, ensure that learners make progress, and promote administrative effectiveness within the subject or program and the college.
  • In order to develop the subject or program and run extracurricular activities in conjunction with faculty from other colleges.
  • Meet with parents and guardians to go over the development, attendance, and behavior of their kids. To contribute to and/or update professional perspectives and standards by taking part in subject- or program-specific professional committees, seminars, and workshops.
  • To work together with institutions of higher and further education on student performance and employment opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Good coordination, communication skills, and good decision-making.
  • Be analytical, able to work under pressure and within a team, and do follow-ups.
