The Zwelitsha Campus is located about 5 kilometers outside of King William’s Town in Zwelitsha. It is well-known for its Engineering Programs, which cover, among other things, mechanics, carpentry, and building. This college has specialty modern workshops, machinery, and amenities, and it attracts both male and female students.

The campus has some of the best-trained craftsmen for delivering the curriculum. Another feature of the property is the presence of a trade test center for mechanics. For ambitious motor mechanics who previously had to travel great distances to take their trade examinations, the Lovedale TVET Motor Mechanic Trade Test Centre has provided a welcome alternative.

This MERSETA-accredited trade test center is located in the eastern part of the Eastern Cape. On the Zwelitsha Campus, it can be found.

Section 13 and Section 28 trade tests are available at the motor mechanic trade test center.

Requirements for Zwelitsha Campus

Section 13 Trade Test (Competency-Based Modular Training)
Must be registered as an apprentice
Must have completed and passed all theoretical modules

Section 28 Trade Test

Recognition of prior learning
Relevant practical experience
Pre-trade test training is available on request.
