When Do Tvet Colleges Open In 2024; TVET Colleges online application

Online Application for 2024 opens on 1 April and closes on 30 November. Therefore, all those who want to apply for TVET College Online should do so before the application deadline. There are fifty registered and accredited public TVET Colleges in South Africa which operate on around 364 campuses spread across the rural and urban areas of the country.

Admission Requirements to Tvet Colleges

All qualified applicants wanting to study at the College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:

A certified copy of your ID
Latest school results
Proof of Residence
Valid Email Address

Foreign students

Certified copies of passport
SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
Proof of medical insurance or cover
Valid study permit

Documents needed to apply to Tvet Colleges

Prior to applying to the college, the following documents are required:

3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
One ID-size photo
Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
A unique Email address and cellphone number

How to Apply to Tvet Colleges

Step 1: Get your application form.

All new applications are online:

I accept that the TVET College will communicate with me during the application process using my e-mail address and cellphone number. Please ensure that you provide a valid and working e-mail address and one cellphone number during the application process.

Step 2: Complete your application form in full

Verification of e-mail, ID, and cell phone number. Your ID, e-mail, and cell phone are used to authenticate you.

Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.

All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
Certificates/Qualifications
Recent Academic results
Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).

Step 4: Submit your application

A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the application information.

7.	Applicant’s application NOT selected by the Selection Committee for Registration/Admission because of AP score or received more applications for the qualification	X – Not admitted
