Maluti Technical Vocational Education and Training College was established on the 1st of September 2002. Maluti TVET College is a Technical Vocational Education and Training Institution operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training. The College is accredited by Umalusi and several Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs)

Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Free State Department of Education (FSDoE) merged the former Colleges of Education (Bonamelo, Sefikeng ) and Technical Colleges (Itemoheleng, Bethlehem, Kwetlisong and Lere la Tshepe) to form one Maluti Technical Vocational Education & Training College.

All in all the college has eight (8) campuses:

    • Bonamelo @ Phuthaditjhaba
    • Harrismith @ Harrismith
    • Itemoheleng @ Phuthaditjhaba
    • Kwetlisong @ Riverside
    • Main (Campus) @ Phuthaditjhaba
    • Lere la Tshepe @ Tseki Village
    • Sefikeng @ Phuthaditjhaba

The registration fee is not refundable.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR Bloemfontein Tvet Colleges

  • Grade 9 or Higher / ABET Level 4
  • Grade 12 / N3 / NC(V)Level 4
  • Certified Copy of ID Document or Birth Certificate
  • Copy of statement of results of highest standard passed

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

Cancellation of registration must be done in writing, within one week of commencement of classes.

Failing to do this, learners will be held liable for the full cost of tuition fees.

CLASS FEES

Class fees are subject to change and are obtainable on request from campuses & Central Office.

REFUNDS

Refunds will only be considered in the following instances:

1. Death of a learner (Full Payment)

2. Transfer to another educational institution (confirmed by the institution) in writing

3. Subject/program no longer offered

4. Subject clashes due to the changes in the timetable
