KSD TVET College campuses stand out as models of skill development in South Africa when it comes to pursuing practical and industry-relevant education. KSD TVET College offers a variety of campuses that act as centers for education, innovation, and career progression as part of its dedication to developing talent and providing students with practical knowledge.

The O.R. Tambo District Municipality is home to King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College, which is located in the Eastern Cape Province’s Eastern Region. It is conveniently located to service the Eastern and Northern Regions of the Eastern Cape Province’s most rural communities through three District Municipalities (O.R. Tambo, Amathole, and Chris Hani District).

The Eastern Cape’s King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College serves 28% of the population. The biggest concentration of unemployed young people can be found in this area. The following campuses make up the College: Mthatha, Libode, Mapuzi, Mngazi, Ngcobo, Ntabozuko, and Zimbane.

KSD Tvet College Campuses

The Eastern Cape Province is divided into six district municipalities namely: Alfred Nzo, Amathole, Cacadu, Chris Hani and Joe Gqabi, and OR Tambo District Municipalities. King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College serves five (05) local municipalities namely: King Sabata Dalindyebo, Nyandeni, Mhlontlo, Port St Johns, and Ngquza Hill.

The college also serves in two other local municipalities beyond the OR TAMBO District Municipality and they are Ngcobo LM of Chris Hani District Municipality where our Ngcobo Campus is located and Mbhashe LM of Amathole District Municipality through our Ntabozuko campus in Elliotdale.

Libode Campus

Libode Campus is 40 km from the central administration office and is actually in the middle, between Port St John’s and Mthatha. The area is very prone to water-borne diseases and natural disasters. It falls under Nyandeni Local Municipality, with certain areas forming part of the Wild Coast. The campus’s strength is that it is very accessible and it relates well with its stakeholders.

Mapuzi Campus

Mapuzi Campus is 120 km from the central office and is located at Coffee Bay along the wild coast and is surrounded by deep rural communities that are actively involved in tourism, hospitality, arts and craft, and limited traditional or subsistence fishing. The strength of this campus is that it is situated in a Tourist attraction area with a few hotels, backpacker facilities, and B and B’s that make the two programs offered by this campus relevant for this area.

Mngazi Campus is about 80 km from the central administration office and is located along the wild coast 10 km from the town of Port St Johns, which is already an international tourism brand. Mthatha Campus is situated in the King Sabata Dalindyebo Local Municipality, which is the economic hub of the O.R. Tambo District Municipality. The strength of this campus is that it has students’ residences and it is closer to town for easy placement of students on Work-Based Exposure (WBE).

Ngcobo Campus

Ngcobo Campus is 90 km from the central office and is located in a hinterland, sitting in the middle of the Eastern and Central regions of the Eastern Cape. The area is mainly rural with communities mainly dependent on community and public services, heavily involved in subsistence farming. The strength of this campus is that it prides itself on strong partnerships with its stakeholders and it is highly accessible along the R61 road to Queenstown and the Dutywa Road. The strong relationship with its stakeholders has resulted in the College obtaining land for the possible introduction of a new Agricultural program.

The strength of this campus is that it has student residences and has made strides in the placement of students.
