SWGC Admission Requirements
SWGC Admission Requirements
South West Gauteng College provides a range of vocational courses. The criteria for admission may change depending on the program and level of study. However, the following general principles apply to enrollment at SWG College:
The College has been granted accreditation to provide education and training, especially in the FET band, by Umalusi and a number of Sector Education and Training Authorities (Setas) (NQF Level 2 to 4). In the Higher Education band, which ranges from N4 to N6, some programs are accessible. With over 30,000 students, the college is one of the largest in the country.
In 2018, the government and the Department of Higher Education and Training began providing ‘fee-free’ education to South Africans from the poor and working classes who earn less than R 350 000 per year as a family.
SWGC has a well-deserved reputation for providing high-quality vocational education and training. Their main purpose is to make creative use of all college resources in order to promote excellence in service delivery, employability, and student entrepreneurship.
