- Please note that receiving a student number (reference number) does not imply you are a registered student until you have officially registered.
- Please note that you will be required to come on campus to write the CAP Test. The test informs and educates students on a variety of career options. At the same time, it gauges the student’s personal interest in the different careers on offer.
- Incomplete applications may result in the delayed finalization of your application
- Continuation with a program depends on sufficient numbers being enrolled

Foreign Certificate:
Learners must have all their certificates evaluated by SAQA: Postnet Suit 248, Private Bag X06 Waterkloof, 0145 or Tel: (012) 431 5000 or visit their website www.saqa.org.za. Students must have a valid study permit, until the end of the relevant study period.

REQUEST FOR CV’S SUBMISSION – ALL PROGRAMMES
The South West Gauteng TVET College’s New Business Development Unit is once again appealing that ALL Former Students and Alumni who have finished their Learning Programmes with the Institution submit their CVs for:
- Internship – A substantial period of authentic work experience that typically forms part of, or immediately follows, an institution-based program of study.
- Learnership – A learning program that leads to an occupational qualification or part- part-part-qualification and that incorporates substantial, authentic work experience of a specified nature and duration
- Workplace Exposure – Visits to, or short periods of observation in, an industry or particular workplace mainly NCV Level 4 completed.
- Apprenticeship – This is a technical training system, including practical and theoretical components offered in designated trades to achieve artisan status.
- Work Integrated Learning – This is an umbrella term for any purposefully designed learning program that integrates theoretical knowledge with authentic practice in the workplace.
- Skills Programmes – This is the unit standard or combination of unit standards that leads to an employable skill and earns a credit towards a qualification accredited by NQF
Applications can be submitted in a sealed envelope and must be accompanied by the following:

Certificates & Diplomas
The South West Gauteng Technical and Vocational Education and Training College would like to let all graduates who received their degrees between 2004 and 2016 know that some of their certificates and diplomas are now available for pick up right away at the examination offices of their separate campuses. When picking up your certificate or graduation, make sure you bring your identity document with you.
It is important to note that because the certifications are issued by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), not all of them may be available. Students who discover that their personal certificates are still pending will continue to have inquiries made on their behalf to the Department.
