These occupational programs were introduced at the College and are of the highest standards for knowledge, skills, and training. They are designed to directly address the top skill demands of the contemporary economy.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

  • The minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9, but even better is successful Grade 10, 11, and Grade 12.
  • A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher; or
  • An NQF Level 1 Qualification; or
  • ABET Level 4
  • A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2

Online Application Process to South West Gauteng College

The steps provided below will help you when filling out the application forms:

Step 1:

  • Select your preferred program of study
  • Application forms can be obtained at any of the College Sites/Campuses and, or on the College Website

Step 2: Application Forms 2024

  1. Hard-copy application forms must be completed using a black pen, with clear printing.
  2. You must sign your application form. Application forms that are not signed will not be processed.

  4.  NOTE: Please note that the application form is not a registration form, the registration forms will be made available to successful applicants.
  5. An incomplete application will result in delays in processing.

Step 3: Supporting documentation

The College requires all applications to be accompanied by supporting documents.  The following documents must be sent with the completed application forms:

  1. a certified copy of the most recent qualification/results
  2. Identity document certified copy
  3. If you have a handicap or ongoing medical condition that requires you to request special help from the College, please include a medical statement from a registered doctor.
