To assist students in obtaining relevant practical skills and credentials that are nationally recognized, South West Gauteng College (SWGC) provides a wide variety of National Certificate (Vocational) Nated programmes in a number of different subjects.
These Nated courses offer students the chance to concentrate on their chosen subject and acquire essential abilities and information for a successful future in the workplace. They also cover a wide range of fields. The practical and industry-relevant course design ensures that graduates are well-prepared for the workforce or further education.
South West Gauteng College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), formerly, FET College, operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended. The College is accredited by Umalusi and several Sector Education and Training Authorities (Seta’s) to offer education and training, mostly in the FET band (NQF Level 2 to 4). Educational Qualifications:

- Download and fill out the application form from the portal
- Support your application with the following documents
- Certified copy of the latest results/qualification
- Certified copy of Identity document
- Attached medical statement from a registered doctor if you have any disability or ongoing medical condition that will require you to seek special assistance from the College,
Note: Hard-copy application forms must be filled out using a black pen and printed clearly. Your application form must be signed. Forms that have not been signed will not be processed.
