The purpose of the program is to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and applied competency to manage logistics in an enterprise in an integrated manner. Admission requirements

  • To enter Level 2 – Grade 9 or better
  • To enter Level 3 – Level 2 qualification
  • To enter Level 4 – Level 3 qualification

Course Duration:

  • 3 years full-time.

This program will only be offered in 2024 at Level 2, followed by Level 3 in 2025 and Level 4 in 2026.

Qualification
When the student completes 3 years the student will be issued with an NQF L4 qualification. With this qualification, the graduate can find employment in the Transport and logistics industry, pursue an entrepreneurial pathway, or continue to develop their knowledge and skills at an institution of Higher Learning. The primary one is being employed in the industry by filling the skills gaps within South Africa and the other is to further develop their knowledge and skills at an institution of higher learning.

The course is structured in such a way as to have a seamless transition from the TVET training sector to the Higher Education (HE) sector, i.e. University or the University of Technology.
