While universities demand a matric pass to earn a bachelor’s degree, TVET colleges allow students who have completed Grades 9, 10, 11, or 12. Some colleges have 300 different course options. These include learnerships, NATED/Report 191, the National Certificate (Vocational), and the NQF Full Time.

  • 3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
  • 3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
  • South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport numbers.
  • Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
  • A certified copy of your latest results/Grade 9 or Higher;
  • Proof of Residence.

How to Apply at TVET College

  • All new applicants must complete the Placement Screening Test before applying. We will not process applications without doing a placement screening test first.
  • You can apply online by visiting the College Online Application portal through this link.
  • Applicants can also visit the school to book an online application session.
  • Applicants can apply for NSFAS Funding or can search for other available bursaries.
  • You can use either your smartphone, tablet, or computer to apply online via the student i-Enabler, using your PIN and student number to log on
  • Applicants should apply for admission for the current level and the next level of your application
  • Make sure you upload all the required documents and pay the necessary fees.
