In accordance with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) was formed (Act 56 of 1999). The mission statement is made up of three parts that explain why NSFAS exists and how it affects the target audience:

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a full-cost bursary for students whose gross household income is less than R350 000 per year (R29 167 per month) or less than R600 000 per year (R50 000 per month) for students with disabilities.

How to Apply for Bursaries in Tvet Colleges

NSFAS bursaries can be sent through the NSFAS online application or through their offices. On the other hand, if you are applying online, you can follow the steps below;

  • Step1 – Go to www.nsfas.org.za and look for the tab “MyNSFAS” and click it
  • Step2 – You, therefore, have to create an account called myNSFAS
  • Step3 – Click apply tab and answer the question
  • Step4 – You will have to upload documents

1st Trimester/Semester: 25 November
2nd Trimester: 31 March
2nd Semester: 31 May
3rd Trimester: 31 July
