What does a Matric Certificate mean
Matriculation (Matric) is a term used in South Africa to refer to the final year of high school and the degree earned upon graduation, however, it actually relates to the minimal university entrance requirements. It can also be defined as the formal process of enrolling in or becoming eligible to enroll in a university after satisfying certain academic requirements, such as passing a matriculation examination.
The Department of Basic Education facilitates Adult matric, Matric upgrades, and Matric rewrites under the Second Chance Matric Programme. The curriculum is beneficial to NSC Supplementary Exams, NSC Progressed Learners, Amended Senior Certificate, and Part-time NSC Candidates.
