TVET Colleges Online Application for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from 1 September 2023 to 30 November 2023. Applicants willing to study at any of the TVET Colleges in South Africa must prepare and submit an online application via the institution’s official website before the closing date or deadline.
There are fifty registered and accredited public TVET Colleges in South Africa which operate on around 364 campuses spread across the rural and urban areas of the country. Public TVET Colleges are established and operated under the authority of the Continuing Education and Training Act 16 of 2006 and resort under the Department of Higher Education and Training

Tvet colleges opening dates for 2024
Online Application for 2024 opens on 1 April and closes on 30 November. Therefore, all those who want to apply for TVET College Online should do so before the application deadline
Admission Requirements to Tvet colleges
All qualified applicants wanting to study at the College must make sure they have the following available before attempting to apply:
- A certified copy of your ID
- Latest school results
- Proof of Residence
- Valid Email Address
Foreign students
- Certified copies of passport
- SAQA-approved foreign qualifications
- Proof of medical insurance or cover
- Valid study permit9
Documents needed to apply to Tvet colleges
Prior to applying to the college, the following documents are required:
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Learner
- 3 certified copies of the ID of the Parent/Legal Guardian
- One ID size photo
- Copy Certified of latest school report/Grade 9 or Higher
- A unique Email address and cellphone number
How to Apply to Tvet colleges
Step 1: Get your application form.
All new applications are online:

Step 2: Complete your application form in full
Verification of e-mail, ID, and cell phone number. Your ID, e-mail, and cell phone are used to authenticate you.
Step 3: Attach all supporting documents.
All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

- Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)
- Certificates/Qualifications
- Recent Academic results
- Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
- A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
- The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA) Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications).
Step 4: Submit your application
A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the application information.
