Goldfields TVET College is an institution with a highly respectable past. Aiming to be the cornerstone of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programmes, completing the human resource and skills development needs of a developing and challenging country or state. Goldfields TVET College has Four campuses: Welkom Campus, Tosa Campus, Meloding Satellite Campus, and Skill Academy. Welkom Campus and Tosa Campus are the two main campuses.

Welkom Campus

The Welkom Campus, which serves as a training ground for students studying hospitality and education, is located in the center of the city. Students have access to technologies for vocational assessment that place them in settings including hotels, restaurants, and pubs as well as daycare facilities. The campus features a fully equipped culinary kitchen, restaurant, bar, and executive bedroom where hospitality students can conduct internships while they are studying.

The Welkom Campus’s long-term goals include reopening its culinary restaurant as a place where students enrolled in the hospitality management program might occasionally start up official businesses. Food will be prepared by students and sold to members of the public, including faculty and staff at the college. In turn, it is hoped that students would develop entrepreneurial abilities and eventually start their own restaurants or other hospitality-related businesses.

Approximately 4500 students are enrolled at the Welkom Campus each year for the National Certificate Vocational NC(V) and Report 191 programs.

Have the following before applying to Goldfields TVET College:

• Proof of payment of your registration fee is compulsory for all applicants.
• SA citizens are required to provide certified copies of their identification documents/birth certificates. International applicants are required to provide their certified passport or their passport numbers. Applicants without these things applications will not be processed.
• Exam Results: Copies of grade 11 and 12 results must be attached to your application. Applicants with grade 11 results prior to sitting for grade 12 examinations can still apply.
• Remember you will need an unmatched email address when applying either online or in a hard copy.
