What Can I Do With My N4 Educare Certificate?

What Can I Do With My N4 Educare Certificate? The N4 Educare Certificate is a qualification for students interested in working with children aged 0 to 5. This qualification is open to students with a Grade 12 NQF Level 4 FETC certificate or an NC(V) Level 4 certification. Without a Matric, you can study teaching, but it will be a separate qualification.

All universities that provide teaching require matric or an NQF level 4 certificate at the very least. You can, however, complete an Education course at a TVET College if you have a Grade 9 diploma.   What Can I Do With My N4 Educare Certificate?

After completing the N6 Certificate, students will apply to the Department of Higher Education and Training for the National N-Diploma in Educare, which requires proof of 18 months of work experience at a recognized Early Childhood Center.

Please note that only after completing the workplace experience will students obtain a certificate. This qualification is open to students who have completed Grade 12, a NQF Level 4 FETC certificate, or an NC(V) Level 4 certification.

Eligibility Requirements For N4 Educare Certificate

Because this is a NATED course, you must have an NQF level 4 qualification. This will be a matric or equivalent certificate. If you don’t have this qualification, you can still enroll in one of Skills Academy’s many other beginner courses. Because the N4 Educare course is taught in English, it is also a necessity to be able to read and write in English.

  • Grade 12, or Level 4 National Certificate (NQF), or an NC(V) Level 4.
  • Enrolment in January and July
